Recognition of Prior Learning/Current Competency
WA Skills Training offers a recognition process for individuals who believe that they have the skills required to demonstrate competence in a unit or qualification. The assessment may be undertaken through RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) or RCC (Recognition of Current Competency).
If you believe you have the skills and knowledge to perform a job to workplace standards you may wish to apply for formal recognition of those skills. If you apply for skills recognition you will need to supply your assessor with enough evidence to satisfy competence.
We also offer Verification of Competency assessments for employers engaging new staff.
